Kith Marina Square

Having defined the core interior design language of Kith, Hjgher designed the fifth branch specifically for its location in the new wing of Marina Square, where families frequent the various activity areas with their little ones.

Taking inspiration from wooden building blocks that children often grow up playing with, the entire wall paneling is a combination of simple shapes that run across the width of the shop as well as used as planter boxes along the entrance. As usual, wood was chosen as a primary tactile material, adding to the sincerity and warmth, symbolic of Kith at all its branches.

The Kith colours of black and yellow continue as constant, along with the trademark padded booth and banquet seating to cater comfortably to range of groups from one to thirty. Coloured hues were introduced to create a bright, open environment suitable for parents, infants and running toddlers. Large Magis toys were spread out in the kids play area, carpeted with colourful Bolon flooring, lit with Tom Dixon pendants and wall mounts, while families gather for hearty meals and freshly brewed coffee on Jaime Hayon chairs and rest time on lounges by Konstantin Grcic and Herman Miller.
