In conjunction with the 2014 Singapore Design Week, Kapok has collaborated with Underscore on a pop-up store at the ground floor of the newly opened National Design Centre. Kapok is a lifestyle shop from Hong Kong, offering a variety of products sourced internationally with a focus on quality and creativity.
As part of an Underscore special edition, Creative Cultures: The Singapore Showcase will form part of the pop-up with a retail exhibition of products crafted by local creatives across disciplines, alongside other local and international brands such as Grafunkt, Rains and 78%. Kapok will also be retailing their inaugural shirt collection.
To complete the overall retail experience, The U Café returns to celebrate good coffee and great reads with coffeehouse Dapper Coffee bringing on its signature blend, as well as Magpie with a selection of internationally sourced independent magazines, sharing the love for the printed craft.
As part of the pop-up store’s retail furniture, SIGNALS, our first ever range of CNC furniture developed in collaboration with materials finishing specialists, PROSPEC SURFACES, will be utilised, showcased and available for purchase.
Visit the Kapok pop-up store from 10 – 29 March 2014, and The U Café from 10 – 16 March 2014. This pop-up is a lead up to the official opening of Kapok’s flagship store in April. Come by for a preview of what to expect in time to come. We hope to see you there.
